Under the Bharat Department program, run by Sadbhavna Samiti with public Participation the Sadbhavna Samiti submitted letter on 13 August 2025 to the Honorable chief minister, the chief secretary
and the District magistrate be provided at the special safety clothing and equipment working on electricity poles.
These safety items include, Insulated Gloves, Helmets safety belts, insulated
shoes and other necessary protective equipment. Accordingly, on
on 2 September 2025, the superintending engineer, electricity urban distribution circle Meerut issued direction for necessary action.Subsequently, on
on 2 December 2025, the UP. Power corporation limited, Lucknow issued instructions to all DISCOM’s regarding the use of safety equipment mock drills and
training in the larger. Public interest this successful initiative of Sadbhavna Samiti will serve as an inspiring milestone for the Samiti.
Welcoming this decision, Sadbhavna Samiti started that this step will help protect the lives of lineman, reduce workplace accidents and promote a culture of safe working practice. The Samiti will continue to extend positive corporation with the government and administration on issues related to public welfare in the future in the future as well.
